I've honestly not had a single bad experience here. There are plenty of cafe options in Playas, many of which have great atmospheres but terrible coffee. Playa 81 has an amazing view/atmosphere, friendly service, and everything I've tried there so far (chai sucio, latte de vainilla, latte de avellana, sandia spritz) have all been very delicious. This is my new spot to go and work on my computer. The only constructive feedback I have is to install clearer signage so it is easier for people to find.

El lugar es lindo a mi parecer, tiene mesas dentro y fuera, pero aveces se llena mucho afuera y no todos podemos estar frente al mar, la vista es preciosa , quizá si acomodan bien las mesas que están frente al mar y pusieran más sombrillas porque pega el sol y no hay techo, de ahí en fuera es lindo. Sobre la comida y bebidas, pedí un latte y un brownie con helado, la bebida era buena a mi gusto y el brownie es grande casi no me lo termino. Tardo un poco eso si!!! Pero tienen libros y juegos de mesa para pasar el rato con amigos o puedes tomar un libro y leer mientras esperas. A mi gusto lo recomiendo . Solo que cuando fui en sábado había mucha gente pero entre semana no tanto .

Nice place to kick back while enjoying the ocean view on the patio. Drinks and food is good. Friendly employees. Get there early for street parking.
